Warrnambool Storytelling Festival brings world-class storytellers to the stage with Get Lit, an illuminating and inspiring event sure to spark wonder, ignite thought and kindle connection.

Session One: Zambian-born film-maker, historian and author Santilla Chingaipe will be in conversation with educator and social justice advocate, Mary Coverdale, discussing Santilla's Stella Prize shortlisted book, Black Convicts.

Session Two: Belfast-born author Chris Flynn will be in conversation with journalist Matt Neal, discussing Chris's award-winning fiction, renowned for its inventive narratives and sharp wit.

Session Three: Internationally acclaimed, best-selling and award-winning author Hannah Kent will be in conversation with VPLA-winning author Rachel Morton, discussing Burial Rites and its legacy, leading to Hannah's 2025 memoir Always Home, Always Homesick.

Get Lit Lunch: Accessed exclusively by VIP Day Pass ticket holders, the lunch session Get Lit Lunch will be deliciously catered by Nook on Hopkins and give guests the chance to connect with others before enjoying a special guest author talk.
