Be transported to a world of tranquillity and perfection with Chris Howlett’s Bach by Candlelight.

Illuminated by a circle of candles, Chris will perform Bach’s most famous cello suites in a very intimate and evocative recital.
A performance that verges on the sublime – enhanced by the
minimalism and simplicity of the candlelight, flickering shadows as Chris performs arguably one of the most famous solo cello works ever written.
 
Throughout this journey, Chris will share insights into the history of Bach, the suites and the challenges of performing them - making the concert accessible to both novice and the classical music lover.
