Discover. Explore. Extend.

Music is an adventure. Join Aboriginal composer and presenter Eric Avery  for the journey of a lifetime for students exploring how great music relates to place, life and culture in Australia and across the world.

Start your adventure by adding your own voice to the orchestra in Eric’s audience participatory composition Yananha. Take a cheeky trip into Beethoven’s most amusing symphony and delve into classical wild-child Mendelssohn’s concert piece featuring as soloists one of Australia’s most inspirational young musical talents 2015 ABC Young Musician of the Year Lloyd Van’t Hoff  and international superstar Michael Collins.

Along the way you’ll explore the orchestra and discover the key building blocks of music including rhythm, melody, harmony, dynamics and form.

Best suited for primary audiences (Years 1-6) and lower secondary school (years 7&8)

Prices: $10.00 per student or teacher
